This lightweight communications shelter is
now ready to be transferred by forklift and truck to a C&W
Optus mobile telephone base station in suburban Melbourne.
In full brick, this building would weigh
over seven tonnes, would be very difficult to relocate and would
be highly prone to damage by cracking when picked up and moved. Standard brickwork
cannot flex and absorb energy like The ABC
System does.
In The ABC System
thin brick cladding, it
weighs around one and a half tonnes, is easily transported and
manoeuvred into position and is highly resistant to damage and
cracking!
The ABC System is strong and safe; far
stronger in terms of resistance to shock and impact than normal
brickwork.
