| Installing
the ABC System is quite straight forward. The steel rail is fixed to a
timber or steel frame, to a concrete or masonry structure,
whatever might be the case, generally after sisalation has been
applied.
The rail is normally nailed to timber or steel with a nailgun.
Timber battens may sometimes be appropriate on concrete or brickwork.

The brick facings and corners are installed - quite quick and easy. |
| In a very short time your job looks like this - all
the facings and corners are in place and you are ready to apply
the mortar.
Does anything look out of place? At this stage any brick
facings or corners can be moved, or removed and replaced. Try
doing that with a standard brick wall!

Most installers apply the mortar with a mortar gun or a
plastic mortar bag. Some use a trowel and a brickies hawk. It
might look tricky, but our Installers have this down to a fine art! |
| Once the mortar has gone off a little, it is tooled
off and sponged down.
The finished job can't be distinguished from normal brickwork, because
that is what it is!
But it is brickwork that is 25mm thick, is bracing the frame
rather than relying on the frame for support, and weighs 45kg per m²
rather than 220kgs per m².
